I have installed tt7.450 - 9028 to my ipaq 212 enterprise running WM6.0
I did a factory reset, installed TT, did soft reset.
TT starts ok finds map all OK.
BUT ipaq startup with not enough memory to load bluetooth driver therefor no GPS.
I looked for BTsdkce30.dll & btcorelf.dll to delete in the \windows dir but they are not there.
Any suggestions?

I have a TT One (2nd Ed.)
Early this year I downloaded and installed the latest Aussie map at the time(v720.1838). I am a real novice but, after a lot of reading and fiddling, I managed to get it to work.
Went to use the TT the other day, and thought I would hook it up to HOME to get any normal updates. BIG MISTAKE.![]()
After HOME downloaded and installing some files, I restarted TT and it said "no maps found". I restored using my back up (can't remember if it was a good backup).
Now TT starts, and then after about 20 sec, turns itself off. However, HOME can read and work TT. But there is only a total of 128MB of files on the TT (Aust map is 107.9MB).
Can someone help me or show me a link that will get me up and going again?
With maybe the latest software?![]()
Thanks
Nordo, sounds like you downloaded and installed latest official V7903navcore (for ttoneV2) on your device. Previously you had a patched ttsystem file for your downloaded map and now you have an official ttsystem which wont see the map.
You need to get a patched ttsystem file (ttsystem.7903.9183) rename the current ttsystem file **.old and install the patched file to your card in its place.
Or use this new tool to patch your navcore so you can still use cracked maps:

Thanks guys![]()
Only just read your replies. My subscription to this thread didn't seem to work.
Is there a thread/post that will hold my hand while I do this? I remember I found the last update really nerve-racking.
Thanks again.
is there a table or matrix showing which model (mine is one v2) is compatible with which latest navcore and map?
kinda. this shows which map is compatible with wich navcore but doesn't show which navcore is compatible with which model.
i don't think every navcore version can work with every model?
Perhaps you'll find this a bit clearer

Sorry if this has been delt with before, but I have updated a TomTom One V4 with the latest Maps and Navcore and all works like magic, but it won't work with my TomTom Home as it sees that it has the wrong navcore. In essence all I really need to find out is how to change TTHome so that it works regardless of which Navcore I have. I also have a TomTom Go500 which I am running the Truck enabled Navcore and Maps, but once again have the same issue with Home. If anyone knows how to rectify this issue I would be grateful. Thanks and excellent work by all those who post to this forum.
Have found info stating that easytools can be used to patch Home so that it works with the navcore installed on my devices. Is this correct?

As a Newbie, this brings up a thought I've had in the back of my mind.
If we are downloading and installing navcores and maps from the internet, is there a need to use HOME.
I found I locked up my TT after installing a downloaded map then allowing HOME to update my software. Still trying to fix it.![]()
Yes i see your point about the "lack" of need for home if we are using patched and cracked software, but one of the main reasons to use home is so that I can set the PIN on my TomTom so that if some little shit steals it they can't use it. apparently you can only set the PIN with HOME.
Also does anyone know which files contain the favourites as i seem to be having no luck getting a definitive answer searching Google.
Easy cant patch the newer versions of home, for that you need to use yDG's tool which can.Favourites are stored as a file called mapsettings.cfg

I hope You can help me.
I took my Device ID from the file ttnavigator.bif.
But when I am using the tt7_keygen, I get "Wrong DeviceID symbols"
What shell I do?
Thanks
Quite a bit by the sound of it,your device id is in the file called "ttgo.bif" and the tt7_keygen should be in a folder called "progs" which should be in a folder called easyusertools which is where you'll find a file called "runmefordct" which is what you should be hitting and then following instructions from...

I downloaded the 2008 maps last night using my promotion pass.
Just wondering if anyone has the list of changes for the 2008 maps.
Dont want the marketing mumbo jumbo that tomtom is giving me, id like an actuall list if it exists
What map version are you talking about? If its a new one, have you thought of uploading so we can all see whats different?![]()
