Default Easy Clearflash tool for Tomtom

Ever played around with new Navcores to test them or just loast with some rebooting problem that needs the clear flash tool from Tomtom ?
    Now it is easier :
    Download this PW : downunder
and install it on your Tomtom (just unpack everything directly on the Tomtom).
After the next start you will find a new menu entry to clear your flash memory

If i am updating new navcore, maps etc (from fresh) then would i install the clear flash tool after i boot my new device setup? Is that about it?
I know it sounds that simple from your post, but as a newbie i just wanted to clarify.

    Thanks.

Ok. it is that simple, please disregard.

I installed this addon and it added a new Clear Flash Button - when I pressed it I was expecting it to start my TomTom - am I right in thinking it just works whilst TomTom is running?

I'd previously used TomTom's own Clear Flash Tool and that seemed to work as TomTom was starting up.

Also since I used the original TomTom Clear Flash Tool I noticed my TomTom now starts up much faster.

No need for a backup as no actual files are touched.
You can use the instead as I don't have the other tool anymore.
