I have TT running on my cellphone using a separate bluetooth gps unit, so that will have to do for a while.
i have the same problem here, i can run tomtom6 and many others like you sup, but not this tomtom 7,though, and i have tried every which way possible, the only thing i can think of, which i have done for previous people is do delete my home, then zip the whole directory, i only then have to be told where to change any numbers, and then upload, saves many people headaches.

    regards.

hollowman, there are Chinese languages in your Voice rar file, but they are all English speaking. Can you verify them? Thanks.

Yes, all good now. I now have IGO8 (still to sort out TTS though!) And TomTom on my PNA.
Just one small issue... I got some of the celebrity voices but they are all at a lower volume, any idea why?

Its not a volume problem by itself, all the other voices are at normal volume. They work ok in another PNA so I can't understand what the hassle is, but never mind I can live without them.

If i have helped you press thanks,
    Hi hollowman,

First many thanks for your most valuable assistance and obvious patience. I have successfully installed Tom Tom as per your clear instructions and now have Version 9.910 and map 830_2290 loaded on my Mio Moov 360.

A question now with updating to the latest map ver you have provided recently because I had some issues with this and started from scratch with a new quality SD. So I am back to status as above. I have the latest map extracted on my PC. My current maps are under My Documents on the SD card, that is where Tom Tom finds them.

Do I just delete the current map folder, create new folder, copy new map files plus the current *.dct file I created with keygen to this folder?

Also what name should I use for this created folder?

    Cheers

all i did was create a new folder called Australia_840_2561 and put the new dct file in there that you generate with the keygen. In actual fact, it doesn't matter what the folder is called... i have actually tired different names and it does detect it providing you have compatible maps for your tomtom.... i have my map folder in the root of the SD.

yes delete the old map first (back it up first)

I'm also getting the no maps found problem after following your instructions in post 1. Is there a definite work around for the problem or is it a matter of going thru everything that everyone else has tried until it works.

That could mean puuting the map folder in the root of your device ,in the folder of your Tomtom installation or into the folder "My Documents".

For the activation of the map : make sure to use the right device code....
I have the same problem as subtob re activating the maps and I think it is the keygen that is the problem. Hollowman says to use his key gen where you copy the deviceuniqueid code and copt to deviceid.txt etc etc and that dosn't activate the map otherwise map would be found.
In other parts of thread downunder says make sure you use the correct meta file eg. F8 85 4F 45 05 FF 61 B6 6E 54 3E B8 33 B5 7B 53 Australia-69.meta . But the KeyGen won't accept that so there must be a different KeyGen to use. Where do you get the correct keygen from?

You might need note_prj.dll in your tomtom folder if it is not already there. Also make sure you are using the right map for wince tomtom's

Finally got tomtom map activated after updating from 7.450 to 7.910 and redoing map activation. However, I now get the dreaded "not enough memory is available" message.
I do not have any POI installed.

luck duck, sorry to say but this memory error is inevidable, it appears on most old pda/pna devices and unfortunatly there is no real fix for it..... (not that i found anyway)...

if you google the error, you will get 1 million results and all forums have different solutions which didnt work for me...
