yes i have both files in the map folder and patched , there is no icon in the tomtom menu should there be?
Its a tomtom start with nav 9.201 map Australia_875_3615

Thanks so much for the updates, LF. This is the first time I am updating my TT, just a quick question, how do I know if my SC updates are successful? or if you could point to where to check the version of SC update. Sorry, I am pretty new to all this. I am using GO 730 with Navcore 9051c. Thanks heaps!

When you unzip the SC files, you just copy and paste (overwrite) them into your map folder.

Like replacing any windows file of the same name, you will get a prompt asking if you want to replace the files dated XXXX with the new ones.

Alternatively, look at the SC files in the map folder and click on properties to see when they were installed last.

thanks MTV. Sorry, I didn't word my question properly last time. I was wondering if I could check the version of SC just like checking a map version or Navcore version on my GO730. So I can ensure the SC are installed and working properly on my GO730.

On the device menu, go to TomTom Services, then Safety Alerts.
If any info is available, it will display the duration of the last update on the bottom left hand corner.
