Are there dct files created for the maps?
Hi
I have been happily using my GO730 with the updated maps from this forum for sometime (thanks guys appreciate your work).
I am off to Europe so I thought I would add the Europe map to a SD card and activate it so I would get the menu up to choose what map and would be able to use it o/s.
So this is what I have done (have) so far:
- Navigator 9.430
- Australia_885_4021
- Europe_Central_885.4009
- FastActivate_12.03.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.5
I have copied the ttgo.bif file over to the card then activated: Great in theory, however I am obviously missing something as now I get a error after the menu (on either AU/EUR map) that says "Problem with Map" "You can not use this map on this device: Australia-512"
I then copied the contents from the internal memory over to the card and then activated. I get the same error message.
Any help would be appreciated.

And if the NC was from Home : patch it
To be sure all is working as it should:
Delete all .dct files from internal and SD (FA won't overwrite them!)
Run FA from the internal and from SD (ttgo.bif and map present)
Each run press the first three buttons from the left.
Now all should work fine.
