    Default Tomtom Home won't update XL Navcore past 8.010 ??

    I've followed all the instructions to update to newest ozzy maps and Tomtom Home won't update the navcore so the new maps will work.Home has the latest update also.
    I updated my XXL no worries,so I think the old navcore on the XL is the culprit.


    The XL has no SD card,here are the details:
    App 8.010 (9369/080529) OS: 190943
    32MB Ram
    GPS v1.21 Boot 5.5011
    Map Australia v840.2561

    I've tried searching for links to navcores above 8.01 but the links i've tried are all dead.
    The search feature doesn't seem to like to search version numbers either.
    Could someone please help me to get this thing running on the latest maps and features possible?

    The latest official navcore for the ONE XL is in fact 8.010.

    If you want to use a full featured map with IQ, you need a higher navcore.

    I am about to test the latest Australia 890.4278 map on my TomTom ONE. I'll let you know which navcore runs best.

    I just tested the 9.061 navcore with the Australia 890.4278 map with good results. Download it from the following thread:



    You can also try Downunder's more recent 9.430 navcore for ONE models here:



    Another navcore that is recommended for ONE models (and other models) is 9.205 which is actually a navcore for the Rider 32Mb model.

    Thanks for that Lemonfish.It was for the mother in laws Tomtom,she is heading off tomorrow so I had to get it working quickly.
    I ended up putting on the 8.562 SE nc on it and a 3 month old map.
    Better than the 3 year old map she had on it.
    I'll give it a full update when she gets back.
