    Default Navcore 9.401 crashes

    Evening!

I have a Go720 and Go730 both have had numerous navcores installed and been working great.

however, 'sometimes' when i receive a phonecall via bluetooth the unit becomes unstable and resets itself.

its becoming more regular now, and I have tried installing a fresh copy of 9.401(full rip d/u fan edition) and I still have the problem.

The only thing I haven't done is installed on a SD card.

is there something im missing out on, or a more device memory friendly navcore?

    cheers!

same results on 9.430, also wiped completley and setup through tt home.

Just resets randomly with bt hands free calling.
when it works, it runs beautifully.

    this is on Both devices.

I guess i'll try from an sd card.

Have you considered your phone to be the problem?

    That was my first thought!
Im using a defy with ics, so i grabbed another from work with stock os about a month ago, however the problem still persists even with my faithful nokia 6700.

i'll do a clean install again, and keep you posted, wont figure it out after monday as thats when i get work calls on the road.

It is a bit strage that two devices have the same problem.
I know that not all BT protocols are supported so most likely only phonebook and hands free is offered.
But I still would say it is related to the phone, have you checked if your models are supported by TT? If not it might be a problem although their databse is not really up to scratch. In case at least one of your phones is listed we can try to narrow it down on the NC.
There are a few files involveld with the phone pairing and some sttings can get "stuck" causing problem with later attempts to use the phone connection.
Usually this only affects data transmissions but maybe it helps:
Do a hard reset (hold reset for 30+ seconds) use the TT Clear Flash tool 3times.
Another hard reset and then insert a stock 9.430 on SD, if possible unpatched and with an original map, otherwise only patch don't use one of my NC's or an SE.
Do the usual quick setup and check if no phones or BT devices are listed.
Set phone to visible and pair with your phone, don't forget to set the connection to trusted/allow all (however it is called on your phone).
Check if the phonebook import is working, if you have a big one it will show that the data connection works or not...
If all is good it should work now
