    Exclamation XL Classic Questions

    I have just purchased a XL Classic from JB, for the wife's car, I have a One XL. On mine I can do the following is this possible on the Classic.

    1. Auto Off when power off

    2. When I turn it on it comes up with two options plan route or browse (i think) can I have it go directly to the map screen

    I'm in the same boat here mate.
    I tried to install NC 9.450 from scratch, and just by overwriting, both didn't work. I didn't manage to get the XL Classic to start. I left it alone for 2 hours, hoping it will do it's thing, but no...
    I miss the power saving option and 2D map with travel direction up (all it goes is 2D with North up).
    Would be great if someone with experience would write some good advice.

    Btw, it's a brand new (but old style) unit (64MB RAM, 2GB internal, no BT, no SD) with 3years map update. Got it at JB HiFi for $90-ish.

    Take my 9.485 and select an emulation that suits you, but there is nothing that can be done about the power on feature.
    Tomtom GO730 ,Navcore 9.004 ,Bootloader 5.5256 ,Map :Australia 845.2661
    ttmaps and Tomplayer on 16GB SDHC class6
