Newby - Help with Tomtom one V3 - UK and Ireland Maps
HI,
Sorry i am totally new to this. I really need some help. My maps are sooo old and i need to have the new maps.
Could anyone help me plz.
TomTom One - 3rd Edition 4n01.001
App: 8.010
Boot: 5.5001
Map: UK and Rep Ireland v705.1485.
I know this tomtom is atleast a few years old so i could really appreciate some help.

Since this is an australian forum I doubt maps for Italy are uploaded here.
However the procedure remains the same...
Italia 900.4608 would work with your current Navcore.
Use the lates version of FastActivate to patch your Navcore and activate the map - done.
If you want to try a Navcore with more features and support for full featured maps try the 9.458 I posted, the MB version should be fine for you.

Yea i found this site very helpfull in terms of guiding people how to do it.
Sorry i need the maps for the united kingdom (uk) and not italy. Italy is a diff country.
I really do appreciate the help, but how would i do it? Really confused
Also, i do wish to Update the navcore... You have the link to the navcore page?
I have got the latest fast active and did patch tomtom home and the other two options.
My 9.485 is locate on the main page, hard to miss if you look a bit down.
For the map it does not matter if you need Italy, UK or Russia, this is still an AU only forum and so far noone uploaded any other maps here as there is no need.
You can check for maps from all over the world.

Srry im struggling to find the 9.458 post you created on the main page. Iv looked in the TomTom section and searched for 9.458 and couldnt find it. Any chance you could link me to that post please?

im downloading United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_900_4608 for the UK.....
Will that work? whats all the stuff regarding meta code? im sort of new to this so sorry about the messages.
Instead of posting the same stuff without the necessary infos in several forums you could have read the instructions provided in the map thread and for FastActivate.
It usually makes sense to gather needed informations BEFORE you start instead of forcing other to get them out of you bit by bit
