Default TomTom Help - Problem with map

    Hey there,

Was going overseas and thought i might torrent some European maps, although it ended up stuffing up my tomtom device entirely. Couldn't even find the australian maps again, and i forgot to do a backup.

Anyway, torrented an updated australian map although having trouble as i keep getting the error, "Problem with map. You cannot use this map on this device: Australia-667"

If anyone could be so kind to help me do a clean format of the device and guide me to some proper maps etc and how to install them, i would be so grateful.

    Device is a TomTom Start,

    Cheers guys.

Number 1 rule... ALWAYS do a complete backup before making any changes.

The tutorial at the beginning of this sub forum should get you back up & running again.

Don't use torrents..... use the links here for the maps and Fastactivate.

The correct navcore can be downloaded directly from TomTom.

    Just follow the instructions.
