Thumbs down USB Voip hassels

Signed up with mynetfone got this usb voip cordless phone from aldi
plugged in etc. trouble is it has skype software like 99% of voip phones for sale on ebay. It just has glitches for eg can on use the speaker and can only dial from key pad etc. The software from mynetfone just doesnt match.

I then bought a USB-RJ11 adaptor but it had skype software as well and when I plug in
my wall phone it will dial the number then keep on dialing 555555555555
until I throw the phone through the wall.

Can I buy a cordless USB Voip phone NOT with skype software???

It has to be USB because I am on wireless broadband

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's a USB telephone you must be connecting it to your computer.
This suggests that the Skype software is loaded from a setup disk, (supplied with the telephone), onto your computer rather than being integral to the telephone.
If this is the case, simply change the Skype VOIP software on your computer to that of your preferred VOIP company and all should be well.

Unfortunately the majority of USB phones are sold mainly for Skype.

Bear in mind that a USB phone is just a fancy headset, so you may be better off just downloading a softphone and using a headset.

The Logitech bluetooth ones work well with eyebeam/xlite, & will save you being tethered to your PC every time you make a call.
