Be careful with pulling the card after you get a pic my card is now E05 after trying that method with a supernat box.
update: just rang around for those who wanted to know (like me) lol there is no firmware upgrade for the supernet 488a as yet or if there will be looks like we have to sit tight unless you guys wanna help us out with recomendations on another box that will or may work

Maybe I'm gonna have to get me a strong, I havn't in the past 'cos I reckon they look like arse. I could probably get over it pretty quickly though.
Ok.. Got picture with firmware 1.20 in strong 4653X, ripped card out and placed straight away into anther 4653X using 1.27p, with no luck.... Repeated process 5 times with no luck... Any clues guys
Help please.... Any solution on the stand alone humax's that some of us have???

From what I've heard Peevee, the 5400's with upgraded firmware allow you to turn off auto updates (ie block emm's), if you have a 5410z you can't upgrade the firmware unless you get the box de"zedded", a member here sell's dezedded boards but the name escapes me at present. I'm under the impression you can buy hardware blockers that will slide into the common interface slot of the hummy and you put your card in the blocker, this is done after you receive a valid update of course. The 3rd option is to buy a season interface off 666, install it and then run a greywolf server. The hummy connects to the GW server via a serial port and you run your whitey off a jaycar (or the like) hanging off a 2nd serial port. But as yet, there has been nothing else reported.
Bear in mind, this is only what I've read.....I have no personal experience.
Yes got it to work finally, Suggest to put volume up so soon as you here sound pull out card. 4658x then load 127p software then all good.
hey i paid $1050 for it about 8 years ago or there abouts and i aint getting rid of it.......still kickin ass....

funny, i went from a strong to a humax coz it was more stable then strong... now 5410z looks like it is not suited to these cards, dam
