Mine works fine with the cam in place.....seems like even 4658x boxes have variations between them

Cos my box is 4653x ...but my issue is i get picture with 120 firmware but soon as i upgrade my box to 127p i cant get any pic.

Are you yanking the card the moment you get pics on 120? because 127p will only keep pics once initialized with 120 firmware
Some people have had to try it a couple of times to get the timing right.

working in 5400z with purple cam 904505 rev1.1
for some reason drops out overnight, to fix pull out cam and re-insert then insert card

This is what im doen. One hand on the card reader one hand on the remote. as soon as the pic comes up out goes the card. then after ive done that im uploading the above 127p firmware for 4653x. then the box boots itself up and all i get is scrambled eggs. How fast does it have to be cos i already tryed about 10 times.

i have tried all three thanks heaps mandc and i can confirm the first firmware in the list works beautifully ,SRT4658_Software_Softwares_Australasia.zip | 889 KB, the others are not compatible .thanks mate
