Strong 4658x for those of you with cams here is another method works every time. put whitey in cam purple 2.21 or what ever you that works, with 120 software on box put volume up on box and tv, soon as you here sound,pics press button to eject cam. load 127p software or old 117 software any software that doesn't update card should work.put whitey in box slot, internal cam and you should get pics.don't leave whitey in cam or it will update and you lose pics.
In fact it should update in the cam without 120 software.

In fact it should update in the cam without 120 software.

Definitely don't need the 120 firmware...just the 127p and the 2.21 cam

What receiver do you have ? You could try picking up Aljazeera News which is in English on the same satellite. Hit the search button and do a search on Aljazeera as there was large recent thread about it.

Agree with the increase in glitches but my austar sub in a Titan [uec910] is only a bit warm....pity really...I would love to give Austar a serve if it was running hot.

I would be giving them a serve for the glitches. Customers shouldnt have to pay to see glitchy screens.

You would probably get a couple of months free if you complained In current economic times they should be bending over backwards to keep you as a subscriber.

The 127p trick is no longer working for me.
I had it working for the last few days.

Now I can still kickstart (well I get 5 sec pics anyway) with 120 firmware.

But get nothing with 127p
I'm doing everything exactly as described here and I had success previously, but about 10am today I lost pics on 127p and have not been able to get them back. tried kickstarting about 10 times with 120.
NO LUCK.

Is it still working for everyone else? Anyone else having this prob?

I`ve got pic on the 4653X for 3 days now... hasn`t missed a beat!
