yes its for the 4653x, curently it is working on mine and a few friends,

at first might be slow to update, works after about 1 minute

anything fancy in terms pre/post firmware update tasks that need to be performed?

works!!! no wanking required, just update to 1.21 and wait for about 2-3 min and bang theres your picture!

still no go for me though....
even did a factory reset, set lnb to 10700, etc and still no go...
i've left the card in there for a good 10mins or so and no pic yet.
the free channels still work so at least the box is set up correctly....

yeah looks like I spoke to soon, Only got the channels for about 5 min before they shit them selves again!

starting to get sick of this shit!

This is not on Strong's site. Where did you get it from, and strong don't name their files "Latest"?

u need 1.27p and it will work fine with no problem if you do it rite......my friend has done it and it works fine its been 48 hours no problem...

The only version of 127p I could get comes up as "Incompatible"

ok left my box updated with 1.21 overnight and its working this morning, hopefully it just works now instead of going on and off!

1.27p has been posted on this thread somewhere, its the one I got that worked the first time, it still updates for me but I don't get a picture with it.

failing that I think I saw it in here as well, you may have to spend about an hour looking for it though

Ist there anything openbox people can do to get whitey working again without wanking the card, updating the card etc? Cheers.

it seems to work for me, but it seems a little unreliable, comes and goes, seems to be working for me though, which is good as my Seller doesn't sell any more or reprogram white's, so this has worked and saved me $50 if I could find another willing to do it.
