Mines giving the same intermittent pictures for 10 seconds or so every now and then.

It seems pretty clear that this is just a variation of the 'countermeasure' that saw us move from 4.1 to 5.3. The HSNs are clearly not compromised, or we'd be getting no pics at all. My 'friend' who performed the 4.1 to 5.3 conversion for me is confident of a fix in a matter of days.

No pics on the Strong , no pics on the Relook 400s but good pics on the the Diginet with very old Freecam modified by Cwispy

Hey all i thought i would jump on the bandwagon, i have no idea about what firmware or whatever i have.

but the box is a dreamax 480 and there are two cards in there, one is a silver (open platform card) thing and the other is like some no name card.

All channels scrambled (except TVSN).

there is nothing that can be done at this stage, am i right?

Back in April when V1 went down, there was no fix posted anywhere.
We didnt & still dont know how to fix our own card. It was up to each individual to find a seller, or a mate of a mate etc. and get our cards reprogrammed by some external means.
Now that V2 is down, if and when there is a fix to V3 developed by a "expert" seller or who ever. We will ALL be still in the dark with no clues to fix our own cards.
Again we will have to rely on mates of mates etc. to have our cards "externally" reprogrammed by an unknown person.
There will be no how to fix it posts here or on any other forum for that matter. I still havent seen fixits for V2 the first time around.
The trouble this time will be finding such a person to fix it.
It was hard enough getting a whitey in the first place.

It would be interesting to know how many people on this forum fixed their
own card and how they aquired the information.

Ok Guys I am using a differnt log in name for various reasons but what we need to know is what decoders it does work in. Post if you are haveing success with the box u r running. Less dribble and more can get done.
Just keep it simple less shit to read. I will start it off supernet ok all the latest strongs no good toppys and 5400 hummy i have no good either along with openbox and dreambox all down.
