Smile Some Newbie questions?

Hey all... am a newbie to forum and not to whitey but have always relied on others to assist...

Have some fair knowledge on computers and need to just undersatnd a couple of the OS of my Hummy 5410...

Alot of talk about cams and firmware...
How do I go about gaining this knowledge for updates and downloads of these and incorporating them on my system???

I know its alot to ask all in one hit...and if I can grasp how my system works I can probably assist...

Also people talk about repositioning sat dish to D1 and get other sat signals....for example using a dreamsat to get italian channels or other sat signals....

Your help or guidance would be very much appreciated...

Regards Peevee

Default

most firmware update information can be found via google or from the unit manufacturers web sites. Sometimes the local reseller (authorised ones) have info & links on their web sites. Good luck with your quest, lots of reading ahead for you.
