Default Goldie V1.2 Strange Phenomenon?

Old faithfull goldie stopped working, checked with Lmedit all OK,checked with Cardhunter all details correct, placed card in Openbox "card not inserted message" placed card in old Humax "Card removed message".
start again check with Cardhunter,Lmedit all OK this time check with GGedit shows no ATR,erased eeprom re-loaded with Icprog wizard same details reinstalled and card works again!
My question is why would two of the programs show all OK but not working and GGedit show No ATR???

I'm with puca on this one - one of mine seems to be playing hard to get recently. Haven't bought any blanks for a long time, working on the basis that optus will kill I1 for Aurora in the next year or so.....of course, they may not bother now that I2 is compromised to a certain degree.

I can't see many people paying $400 at the pub for a plain white Aurora card.
