Aren't the PK updates addressed using the ProvID, and just the first two bytes?
yes thats coorect , still need valid gk1 and gk0 to decypt the payload

Is it fair to say that in order to make the GKs invalid for the public RDC, they would have to send new EMKs to all the HSNs in the same provider ID 'group' as the killed card? Then they could roll just that groups GKs and the RDC will miss the update?
I guess I'd like to understand how they kill a card without rolling EMKs.
that's what I call splitting hairs, and if you had both GK's & the provID then you could decrypt the PK'swell you really only really need one valid GK as they only use one at a time, thats if I understand correctly

Best4less is correct. One GK for a valid provid is enough.

My mate is saying that the new Austar file from the yellowdragoncard site is working, have not tried it my self yet as i'm away from home. Are there more confirmation this new dragon file is working? Please confirm

I saw a report at another site that there is a time bomb in the austar file at the yellowdragoncard site and it was confirmed by others, anyone here know?
Yep all files on that site were timebombs which killed cards. If you chuck your card in and try to reload any files you will most likely see it has NO ATR which renders it useless. Confirmed.
