Cel Card?

I know of someone trying to sell a blank gamma with 1.4 os to a seller was told no good anymore as they now use a cel card, can anyone explain to me what a cel card is?

Sellers card, is what they mean
not Cel card

thats what i think anyways

Can anyone tell me what would be causing a gamma card to not work locking. It just posts "error". Has anyone else had similar problems - has anyone got a solution. Can you either post or PM me the workaround. Cheers.

There is no work around.
Cards that 'won't lock' are old public gammas & there is no fix for it as far as I am aware.

Whether or not a sellers card is based on the same wafer card as the old public gamma is a matter of debate. Maybe, maybe not. One thing is certain. The operating system on the pair are different & are not compatible with each other.

It would appear that sellers cards will 'Lock' & public gamma will not.

So you can be sure at least that the OS makes them different. Whether or not the card is the same is unknown.

Why is it then that they are a hard to track down item if there is not something special about the public gamma. And why are they fetching the prices they are, I feel it is just that it is not common knowledge yet. People have to be using these items for something if they are paying these prices. Hopefully soon we will know. An item does not just run out of stock for no reason.

Europeans I think, dont think many buyers in Australia.
On the topic os sellers & public - Why cant the OS be removed and new seller OS be installed? Is it because the card cant be locked?

I also notice the Card ATR of a sellers is different to Public Gamma.
So I figured the card wont lock with GammaV3.5 & panda loader wont work because it doesnt respond to the Cards ATR.
Next step was, try to change ATR, How? No idea.
I used GammaV3.5 and loaded "Frog.gam" file which was in the EMK software package (.rar file)
Sent to card and then Reset the card and ATR changed to same as seller card except the last 8 digits. I never thought the gamma file could change the cards ATR but it did.
This makes me feel there is another gamma file that sellers used prior to Whitey V2. Maybe the ATR will change and then respond to these loader tools.
I have been trying many things, its a wonder I havent killed the gamma card, but like many, I have been stuck with a useless plastic card since september 07 so whether a dumb idea or not I have been trying.
I have been told many times the public card is a dead duck, but I am too stubborn to just accept that.

i had a Viper with no "ATR"tried to clean card many times no success untill i wiped card on my t shirt then bingo it cleaned and loaded no probs ..
