If you don't get that card going I'd be interested in it for a play.

Appreciate the hints and link.
However it doesn't do anything for me. Or rather, it reports the card isn't empty, so it won't load.
Are there additional tricks or hints?
Cheers

As far as I know the original gamma 1.04 are worthless here, but overseas (Greece to name one) they are keen on them. But I have heard of a few using them on C-Band in the West.

Yes what best4less posted is correct.

There are 2 working MCA files posted around the web that work on cband.

One is for the standard Gamma which worked with our public files. The file apparently still works wth 1.04 cards. It loads via the old loaders and file ends with .gam.

The other file (the one we are discussing) works with a Gamma Plus card. It loads via a H2 loader and file extension is .bin like the sellers files.

This is why i an questioning if a gamma plus card may be a sellers card.

So far it doesnt look good.

The above statement is wrong, no one has said they got select working using the H2loader and also you will find you can't change the .bin file to add your opwn details to it ??? a bit more reading is need here. AS for OS its not the same as a H2loader the loads the bin file to the card thats it, your cards needs to have the correct OS on it already.

Thanks.

I was kinda hoping that it the H20loader would work with the original gammas, but it won't. Neither will Gamma 3.5.

A bit of logging shows that both of these use the new gamma clean commands which the old gammas don't respond to.

Despite opinions to the contrary, I think the old gammas are not Atmel cards; perhaps the new gammaplus and the sellers are - I can't comment on those because I haven't seen one.
