| Member | Hi There I am just wondering if its at all possible to create a link to a website (meaning not have access to the code) and change the default value of a drop down box by using the php link ie somthing like ... http://www.site.com/page.php?value=s...alue=something is such a thing possible to preselect a value in a website. Its for a donation website.. which has a few appeals on it and I want to pre select a different appeal to the default one. Is this possible? The site is Make an Online Donation :: Cancer Support Association of WA you can view the code.. i want to change the select appeal drop down box just by using a link. Thanks in advance! |

| Premium Member | You can create a link from one site to another and get/post the appropriate values to the site selecting value x without having access to the source code of the site your sending to. It will not be possible if you didnt have access to the code on the sending or receiving sites though. You cant however change the value that will display on the form you linked to. You would need to duplicate the form and post the results to the receiving page which is probably not a good idea.
