Okay, you were using CGA (although 16kHz doesn't quite say it, should be 15.5somethingkHz really)...meh, jamma video isn't quite CGA anyhow =)
Very likely, and if the picture tube needed...

That looks totally hinky, in particular the distortion of the raster and the areas bottom left/right corners.
I see that again just after it tries to display...
Aye, it's kinda like the system painting itself into a corner ~ I've a couple of friends who live in seppoland, both aussies by birth, and even though they like the lifestyle and money they're making...
No worries ~ had a power outage here this morning thus couldn't attend to this until now --- the circuit schematic is taken from the service manual, which you will no doubt find useful ; I'm pretty...

Exactly right ; been there too ...and you can't argue/debate with such folks -- they always say it's "not their view" they're proffering, but instead god's view (and by extension, no mortal can...
Funny, I never knew Trump was a member of the American mafia ; nice analogy though.
Fortunately, being aussie, I immediately thought of Trump, The Don, as being a big knob of salami =)
Could be your VPN is run by the pro-Trump brigade =)
Ironic, yes -- frightened? No... such orders have to pass through a chain of command, and no president would have such an order obeyed if it were illegal (which is the only option left to Trump right...

I'd be mindful you've no idea what the VDU is capable of -- it may be CGA only, or else VGA only...(or real jamma which is sort of like CGA but not the same)
M'kay, get your yoga mat out and form a mental picture along these lines ; I can't really make out the manufacturing date on the sticker that was on the VDU ...that'll be a clue ; whenever it was...
Ummm .. how was the ATX supply connected into things originally?
If you just need/want free play and not paid play, you can toggle the coin slot signal off in the pandora
Interesting stuff, huh...(I remember the sound from the teevee series 'Emergency')

So the answer is 'yes', caveat & subject to the bold text above =)
edit: oops, missed the word 'decoder' -- still yes, but same...

I think you're merely confusing the 12volt...
That seems correct...coin slot mechs tend to only use 12v, jamma board uses both 5v & 12v rails
I meant to ask if you'd sussed out the ?why? of the two PSU setups being there...wassat transformer...

Do you happen to know if the VDU is functional? I always get a gut feeling when I see a cabinet like this, minus the game controller board, that the display has failed, and that's why you see them...
Very likely -- body may well have been made by Holden's Motor Body Builders Ltd (HMBB), and back in those days they were building bodies on imported chassis from Austin, Buick, Chevrolet, Cleveland,...
