Default New services on C1/D3 VAST platform?

So has anyone else noticed that while doing a scan that many more TV services are found including:

    • Oracle
    • HD Test
    • Sky Racing 2 TAB
    • Sky AD Hoc
    • Spare MP4
    • Business TV

However, despite finding all these services still only the regular VAST channels are viewable (at present). Does anyone else suspect the 9HD, 9LIFE, 76 or other services may be pending for launch on VAST?

Anything is possible even to utilising VAST as Aurora did with the SMART Card to enable only authorised viewers to access certain channels like the retail stores 'Musac' and Info channels before the Gold Card era.
TAFE, Hospitals, Govt Departments,Sporting events, Schools, Police using Satellite Communications could instead of either buying a STB and getting a SMART card from a Provider, use the VAST system with its so far unhacked encryption system utilising a 'paired card and stb' to ensure you buy their equipment as you have no other choice.
There is no reason I can see to prevent a version of VAST system being used on D2 or any other Satellite come to that.

Because except on Boot Up, you cant fiddle with the current crop of VAST decoders to see whats available and even then it only says how many services are available so Joe Public wouldnt have a clue whats going on.

How simpler would it be to use the current VAST STB's readily available with their encryption already in place for those who need
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Been there a while mate. I think HD Test is the only one that is viewable in that group.

"HD Test" was definitely viewable at least up to a few weeks ago.
This contained a looped demo of the new MPEG-4 Sky Racing channel & decoder.

Wasn't "Business TV" viewable with a goldie a number of years ago?

We have been waiting so long for any word on new services that we are jumping at shadows.
