Default Hikvision 16+16 nvr with UNIFI Point to Point

Hi guys. Got a site with Hikvision 16+16 NVR (CSD NVR). It has 6 cameras cabled to NVR and 6 cameras over Point to Point Unifi. All cameras display and are recording. 6 cameras over Point to point show 'no recorded footage' in calender search when at NVR...Cabled cameras are fine. However if you remote in via iVMS (locally or remotely) they have footage recorded as per normal. So NVR is recording but point to point cameras show no recorded footage when at NVR. Spent a day at site with Hikvision tech support. Default and format HDD's and works for day and a half (or so) then same issue. Have swapped NVR but same problem. Any ideas would be much appreciated. If you want more details, please let me know. Thanks.

Have you got logging enabled on the unifi's?
If so are they dropping out at all?

Which unifi radios is it using?

They're the M5 Nano's. Didn't turn logging on, not sure if it's default setting. Nah they're not dropping out at all. Live view is always fine and not missing any footage when checking with iVMS. Just using NVR shows 'no recorded footage' for those cameras.

The nano's can only throughout 100Mb/s. Is the NVR trying to exceed this?

As a test you could try recording on one camera on the ptp and see if the issue still occurs..

Just to update. Got second NVR for remote location (quick fix). No way 6 cameras are using 100mbps. Got heaps of sites with similar setup. Appreciate help irwazza.

Are the cameras setup statically on the nvr? Or dhcp? Maybe try add them statically.

I personally don't use Hikvision, but is iVMS being ran 24/7 on a PC on the same network? It sounds like this video footage is being stored there, not on the NVR, and the most likely spot would be on a PC running it on the same network.

My reason for this conclusion is simply that if the NVR has no records of those camera recordings locally, then there would be nothing for iVMS to access unless it's finding reference to them elsewhere. NVRs and DVRs are just another computer at the end of the day running Linux, and if it has no record of any files (video footage) for these cameras, then those records had to have been stored elsewhere.

If this is the case, and I strongly suspect it is, then check iVMS settings as it's likely being told within there to record for the remote cameras rather than to the NVR.
