No I'm not sure; just a guess from memory, I'll bet smacca knows exactly when it happened as he does the program.
BTW: VAST has been on air now for over 5 years & I have a UEC 4121 that is 5 years 3 months old & never had a fault.
Apart from the early freezing problems cured with an update.

not sure if this relates or not
Here is a note Nine sent to staff earlier this week which should explain:
Please be advised the modifications to Nine’s channel numbering scheme (Logical Channel Numbers) in Darwin, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth will proceed tomorrow – Wednesday 30th September.
The purpose of these changes is to allow viewers to access Nine’s channels sequentially from 90 through to 95 by pressing up or down on their remote.
Nine, GO, GEM and Extra will remain in their current channel location with additional copies as follows:
Nine will remain on Channel 9 and will also appear on Channel 91
GEM will remain on Channel 90 and will also appear on Channel 92
GO will remain on Channel 99 and will also appear on Channel 93
In Perth only, Extra 2 will be removed from Channel 92 and replaced with a copy of GEM.
Cheers, Tiny

Tiny, I still have in use and working perfectly is the one I bought for my 20 times removed Cousin when they authorised any pre existing Aurora viewers to 'change over' to VAST in NSW which was I think about 12 months before they released the VAST areas to all.
The STB I have had 'problems' with I spoke of in another posting just recently is the replacement for the one I got from the Government as it died within 2 months,
My 'Cousin' 'Lived' in an approved Aurora area where even though we are only 25 kms apart, I was not.
I was on the 'wrong side' of that magic Blue line that decided who got TV and who didnt.
