    Default Will the samsung Omnia work on next g

    I need to get a new phone and really like the Omnia but want it to run on Telstra next g because of the country coverage
    Have been looking all over the net some say yes some say no so will leave to the experts hear is one link

    i was looking at the telstra 165 as i was told it was good for country ppl.

    i also found out that if u go to a TELSTRA SHOP, not an agent they have loan phones u can have for 24 hours to try them out.

    so off to town i go to the telstra shop all painted up and find its an agent, they both look the same, only 1 has agent on it.

    the closest real telstra shop is about 160 klms from me lol.

    # EDGE / GPRS (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900)

    no mention of wcdma, so it won't work on next-g

    That clears things up I thought for some reason that utms 850 was next g wrong again

    Do you know when the omnia is being released in OZ and will it be HSDPA 850 / 1900

    From what I have read it will be the i907 any idea what plans and the release date I heard October

    Very keen to get this phone
