Hi Twoshots
I have DL 711map from your link but will not work on my TT oneXL. I just extracted and placed the NZ folder on Mt TT. Is there something else I have to do or perhaps it wont work on TT one XL?
Thanks
Raldaw
The map is off a TomTom one so should work on your Xl.
What version software is on your tomtom?
You will need to use a "keygen" for the version of software you are using.
All of which you can find here and the instructions on how to do it
Ask "Freezz" nicely he may fill you in.

Hi Twoshots
My version is 8.010. Not sure where the instructions are regarding keygen.
My son is going to NZ in Feb and wants to use my XL.
Be kind I'm only an amataur
Thanks Raldaw
Do you backup your Tomtom to tomtom home on your computer.
If so just restore your tomtom back to version 7 operating system,
so you can use the version 7 Map.
If you have a spare SD card will make things a bit easier.
Check here Post #4
I think there is a way to keygen a v7 map to work with an v8 OS.
But will have to do some searching for that.
But i think using another SD card and restoring your Tomtom back to v7 for the purpose of your sons trip, then swap cards and restore back to v8 when he gets back.
If you dont have a backup there is a link further down the thread to download it.
