I havent tried this, but might try moving some pics from Dropbox to Google Drive as its free.

It could save a lot of data and dollars.

Interesting......, if you have Business accounts there is a charge. But I just tried moving the contents of my Dropbox Business account to my Microsoft OneDrive and it accepted it. I think the reason is that I have both Dropbox Personal and Business accounts and at the permission page you have to choose which one. I dont think it can tell the difference between multiple accounts once you login.

Time will tell, it is running "pre checks" at the moment.

Its a whole new world this Cloud Storage, and now these file shifting programs?
Can't you just load directly from "X" Cloud server to "Y" Cloud server by yourself?

If you have say 15GB of files (photos, videos, whatever) in your Dropbox account and want to move them all in to your Google Drive account, you would have to download them from one and upload them from the other.

Well, thats not quite correct because if you are using the Dropbox app on your PC, you have a copy of it all on your PC But you would of course have to upload that 15GB of files to your Google account.
As we all know, uploading files isnt much fun in Australia on a fixed like (ADSL) because its slow as hell.

This service simply allows you to select one account and copy the content to the other account. In other words, they do it for you and you have no data costs/time/money.

Its still stuck on pre checks, so I might not get away with a free Business Account move. They dont have any of my financial details, so they cant bill me, it will just fail I presume.

16 GB down and about 16 GB up so far, each time I have checked it the up and down has been almost in sync. So they must have a symmetrical connection, ie, download and upload speed are the same, many businesses do. Not superfast but pretty steady.

Well, all good. It download 30 gig of music videos from Dropbox and uploaded 30 gig of music videos to Google Drive. At the same time. It took about 90 minutes.

If I had to upload all that it would take weeks.

Thats great, so that didn't touch your Data Allowance one bit did it?
All done on remote server, being used as the middle man.

    Out of interested.
How many users could you have simultaneously streaming/downloading or just hanging off a single upload file on either Google Drive or OneDrive?
