Just checked my freight option and it's "China Post Registered Air Mail"; which being "Air", one would think it would be quick. How wrong am I.
The only option I saw for DHL was when ordering more than one, it opted for DHL or FEDEX.
Yes, new toy, want so bad.
Daily trips to postoffice. Not a happy chappy when there are only bills and no parcel.
It will teach me to read properly next time and select anything else other than China Post.
Still, why does it take so long for China Post Registered "Air"; more like frigging row boat to me.
At least reading everyone elses setups and guides, I'll be set with setting up mine.

I did go China Post and it took 14 days but I was surprised it was that short a delivery time as other items I have got via China Post in the past have been 3 weeks+.
Honestly, you probably have to wait another week before getting worried.
Buggered if I know where mine is,.. typical of stuff that comes from there via what they seem to call 'air'.
Hopefully see it within a week or two ?
We have been working on the shipping issues after we received the dispute in Aliexpress from Xplorer. We have gathered some information:
1. Shipment to Australia via China Post is not stable, 2 weeks to 4 weeks
2. There is no tracking information after leaving China while with other European and American countries there are some updates.
We do understand the frustration of waiting in the darkness. We are trying now to setup a special courier route for Australia, not as expensive as DHL but trackable all the time and voyage duration more fixed. Our target is to get to Australia about 10 days and maximum $3 extra. A negotiation is going on with the forwarder and it might take some time. Once we are ready, we might remove Australia from China Post option. It is a little expensive but better than now which is more like a Russian Roulette.
TO Explorer, if you could lift the dispute, we would really appreciate it. We are sorry for the long waiting but there is nothing we could do. Is there a possibility to track it in your post office? I am dann sure the parcel is now in Australia.
When I buy from China out of Ebay it can take 6 weeks .
Hong Kong can be here in 2 weeks
I find ems out of China very cheap and quick, with full tracking, well until Australia post get it anyway......

Yes. Spot on oceanboy.
I've been in touch with dizzdizzy via the online chat and he/she has been very understanding.
I guess it's like every order placed online. Once it leaves the warehouse, you don't have any control over the delivery.
And, Australia Post used to be great, but they have been going downhill for sometime with their deliveries.
Anyway, I'll drop by the post office tomorrow and see if they can track it down.
any news or updates on getting the oscam dvbapi source on these box.
normal source dvbapi is no good without some modifcation
I find australia post tracking doesnt update until its delivered. then all of a sudden all the tracking details appear.
probably do it to cover theirt incompetence....
last item from the states, 4 days from Missouri to Sydney. then 11 days from sydney to kalgoorlie......
i suspect aus post trying to save money wait until the truck is chock a block before it leaves, rather than having a fixed schedule.

With all our attempts to get a faster route, Aus Post is the only choice in terms of final delivery. Not sure what to do as paying more does not seem to cover all the risks.
We would probably try to use the following route: DHL Hongkong->DHL Malaysia->Aus Post. It will be $5 more and 6 days arrival to Australia. Everything trackable, well, until it gets into Aus Post. We will try and see how it goes.
