What would make a bigger seller, is to include a cam module and increasing the ram to 2Gb.

Thanks for checking that out. I guess it needs Widevine support for that to be possible. Not an absolute deal breaker, but really would make for a complete all in one box if it had that.

Still, pretty amazing for the coin by the looks!

I'm surprised how many people still want receivers with cam modules. All I can put it down to is people using VAST.

Was that via the link that OB posted. Couldn't see a PayPal option. How did you pay?

Have not been able to come up here lately. Need VPN to access the forum and not easy these days.

I am very pleased Ob likes the box and we will continue to do more to polish the firmware to make it better by every day.

A big thanks to Ob for the great review. I hope all the guys who got the boxes will enjoy like Ob.

For CAM you mean Smart card reader? We may consider this in the future. 2GB ram is a little complicated. When the box was designed, the hardware could do only 2pcs of RAM which has to be single channel. And single channel RAM with 1GB capacity was just not available at that time.

I have not found any problem with RAM shortage or Slowing of the unit due to RAM usage.
It is so much faster than my M8 unit which has 2gb of RAM.

There is much more at play.
It really isn't as simple as stating that it is lacking because it only has 1gb of RAM.

It is the fastest Android device I've owned to date.
And handles resource hungry apps with ease.
And much faster than my M8.

Yes I guess from an advertising stand point it would be better if it came with 2gb of RAM.

paid by credit card via the link (Aliexpress site). Paid the $2 odd dollars for DHL. Had to agree to pay taxes etc but quicker than shipments I have received from the US.

Will try and hook it up tonight.

The box was $119 and then when I selected DHL as shipping, it gave me $2 as the cost.

Ok - fired up the box for 10minutes. The DVB S2 tuner works and found asiasat 5 with no issue (after I set it up).

Don't have Kodi setup on the box and chrome crashes everytime I try to launch it.

Will spend more time tomorrow to see if I can manually download and install Kodi and test the IPTV functions.

Also found that the display was not 16:9 - will try the HDMI settings as the only free ones on TV were component.

Slipper - I think I solved or can answer your question better.

After noticong that I didn't have Kodi on my box, I reviewed what I ordered and it was the $119 version without Kodi as opposed to the $106 with. The shipping for the $106 is $40 whereas on mine, it was only $2 (total of $121USD). Strange......

Ahh, thanks for that. I have ordered the $106 one with free China Post the same day you ordered yours (I am a cheapskate) but I still haven't got it yet. I thought they were identical. Strange that yours does not come with kodi although it should be easy enough to add on.

    Hi Bobby,
Please try network update to the latest version March 4th build. All firmwares are the same with Kodi preinstalled (in all apps folder). Maybe you are in 'favorite app' and it might not be there.
There could be breakdowns if too many apps are running or some RAM-Eating games. Simply using chrome should be fine. But do tell me if there are further hangup after upgrade.

Kodi came pre installed on mine.
And when you launch it, it was the first time running.
    So no problems there.

There has been 2 newer firmware updates since the version on my box.
