Better start packing heat, Donald.............although I'm not sure if that would necessarily qualify as a good guy with a gun

But you're right.....endorsement by the NRA is practically a Gold Pass to the White House.

I wouldn't like to see guns at school & I also think these shootings are not all they seem

Lets have a quick side step from Trump and the NRA
Americans don't need guns, its the attitude that kills

US Troopers, showing the world how good Policing is done, once again
Right in front of Mum too, how nice.

Don't worry about gun free zones at schools, this is how the law treats your children in the USA.

Now, back to Donald and the NRA
Lets swap out those Tasers for 9mm pistols and make this country great again!

Whilst I am neither condoning, nor condemning, the police actions in this case, it is a sad reflection on society as a whole where police feel that they must "shoot first and ask questions later" where, in the past, all they needed to do was turn up and people would "behave". "Gunfight at the OK corral" seems to be a lot safer place than many of our streets today.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

You must live in a rough area mate.
All the Aussie Cops i see, would just turn up and stand outside the car, with gloves on asking questions.
I suppose in the USA, there is a fair to even chance he might have a gun.

But i'm hearing you, what ever happened to turning up and helping?
    Not inflating the situation.
The Mum must be wishing she hadn't called the Police.

So, as far as making America great again, they could start in many places.
I guess as this guy was White, they opted for the Tazers, i'll beat if he was Black, it would have been straight for the guns.

Actually, where I live OB, the local copper often leaves a note on the door of the cop shop saying he's off somewhere or other, so we rarely see him. It was more an observation on the typical American response than here in Oz.

Now that it's a lock that he will be THE Republican nominee, expect the DNC to spend a LOT more $$$ with a LOT more creative/adept/inventive NEGATIVE PR firm's to create some "unbelievable TRUTHS" about Donald!

Barack Obama is the ONLY two term president in US History to have the US involved in active warfare during both terms of presidency!

Tyrel Ventura & Tabetha Wallace reveal that President Obama has been at war longer than any other president in history.

Wondering if Trump will adopt put on the "American Cowboy Hat and Cowboy Guns" (WE are so famous for) and drop a few nukes here, a few nukes there . . . . over and done with!

    And?

Who started them? Both useless, unwarranted, underfunded and unwinnable?

So, after sitting back and watching all that is Donald Trump from a far.

Looks like the basis of his Campaign is Fear
Essentially striking at the hearts of the American people, with Fear

    Fear of Muslims
    Fear of Mexicans
    Fear of Terrorists
    Fear of Hillary Clinton

This might actually work, as you have the "right to keep and bear arms", which was brought about by Fear in the first place.
So, he is working on or appealing to, your Countries Natural instinct.

But, would such a Tough and Proud Nation vote out of Fear?
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!

    Of course they would.....we do!

Fear of Muslims................. Is not as bad as the States as we have hardly been directly attacked yet, but there none the less.
Fear of privatising Medicare ..................... (EVERY election....works every time to some degree by the ALP....despite the fact that any government that does is an immediate dead duck. It shouldn't be confused with privatising the actual payments, thats a different issue....but works anyway as it gets lumped together)
    Fear of the GST
    Fear of Workchoices

    It goes on.....
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

Just remember one thing, during the cold war there was really only Russia to worry about.

These days everyone's got Nukes (much like everyone's got guns in the US), if war breaks out due to a Yank happy on the Nuke button, there are enough countries (Iran, Russia, China, North Korea, India, Pakistan etc) to fire back to wipe out America and its interests around the world a few times over......(and the rest of the worlds population)

Last thing you want these days, regardless of where your standing is a nuclear war, who cares who won....if your dead.

Not worried about Russia China Iran India or Pakistan and the jihadist oil countries around the Persian gulf . . they need us to survive!

I'm surprised to see that CHINA has gone down and kicked the Little General Kim Jong-un right in his nuclear ass yet!

If he starts nuclear shit, China is right across the border! What are the chances radioactive breezes will NOT head towards china mainland?

Nope, they are happy to supply Russia and the growing needs of China and get paid with local currencies. Bye bye petro $US.
China and Russia are a team now.
Soon they will ALL dump their US treasuries.
I think it is more of a case that you (USA) need China to survive and when Trump and forces all products from US companies to be fully made in the USA (no more outsourcing) many of your businesses will go broke. I wonder how Apple will survive.

As for fear, I think here in AUS it is all about the fear that almost everybody will have to get used to having less soon, except a mighty few.

    All doom and gloom hey

Funny, all the young kids around here are buying or building their new homes
    Buying new cars, having babies
It wasn't even that easy when i was their age!
I got paid 1/4 as much and interest rates were 22%
And they are doing it on 1 wage

Get used to having less you say...... ok

Not where I live nor the kids I know who are working their arse off in Sydney just to live to pay the rent.
I doubt 15 million people (or how many are working in AU, probably less) can find such high payed jobs as the kids you are looking at, with many not finding work at all.

For the record I had my first little home payed off when I was 29 in the late 1980's.
It costed around 60K and I was earning $30-35 an hour.

Perhaps, but odds on they are in the deep end of a pool of red ink too. Loss of job, or a wee swing of the interest rate pendulum in the wrong direction, and suddenly they'll be drowning.
