Default Mediastar HDX 9100 - renaming Satellite issue

Back in May, 2011 I asked a question about renaming satellites.

    The response was:

    1. Save the channel list to your Hard drive

    2. then open the channel list in the channel editor on your PC

    3. on the Left hand side expand "Satellites"

    4. double click on the satellite you want to rename.... in the box change the name

    5. save the file

    6. connect your Hard drive back to the HDX9100 STB...

    7. save your edited file to the STB

    too easy

    have fun
At that time it worked a treat.

However I have just tried to update the satellite list but when I click "Upload Channels" I get a "Transmitter not responding" message.

    Any ideas?.
If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?

    Default

    To answer my own question.

Instead of "Upload Channels" the correct method is:

    Channel List>Recover>Select_the_correct_file>Enter.

    Simples.
