    Default Icom IC-410PRO Dealer Software

Can anyone advise if the dealer software for the new-ish Icom IC-410PRO is in the public domain? There is user software available from the Icom website, however I'm looking for the dealer version.

It is a newish radio, and there probably aren't a bunch of people after it yet, but it will surface eventually - especially as the IC400 is discontinued.

There is free 'user' software available on the Icom Australia website, however I don't have access to a radio to confirm if this will allow extra frequencies to be added or mods made to the CB channels. The ID code available for the software is '374301-001001'. If there is somebody out there who could test the available functions with one of these radios and confirm it would be appreciated.

Yes the IC-410 dealer software has made it into the wild via *ahoooooo Groups on or about the 11th of Jan 2017.

Early reports were it was the real deal and installed fine but no feedback on actual programming.

I do not have a copy currently as I have no immediate use myself. I suspect one of the group subscribers is also an Austech member so perhaps a thread bump may encourage / remind them to upload here some time. They tell me take down notices come pretty quick though so may not have been in circulation for long.

The key included with the download I posted above is different, so there may be more than one floating around.

374202 is all that matters. The last part is just a serial number, it can probably be used to identify the origin of the software and key.

It could be changed to 374202-737373 and still work if I remember right.

Icom is really restricted access to the software and dealers are issued unique serial numbers. odds are if '374202' is all that matters then they have done a poor job of implementing security or a dealer is going to get a please explain.

Considering it's ICOM, I'm not really surprised.

Don't believe me?? See screenshot. Also, for those that do post ICOM serial numbers, please change the last six digits.

The 374202 is really all that matters as I said. The last six digits is just an identifying serial number.

Thank you all for the general concern. I am fully aware of the last part of the serial numbers. The posted number was randomly generated.

Took awhile to come out I only got it last week! Thankyou for sharing!!!!!!!

My ID was different again 001001 like you said I don't think it matters what the last part of the number is only the first part.

One is the public release (1) and the other is the dealer release (2).

The question I have is the 374202 001001 serial is the same number Icom have for the public release software. By inputting that number into the dealer software, while it unlocks it and allows installation, it doesn't seem to allow editing of the power , eg: Hi, Lo, Lo, for example on CB band. I know you're limited to 5 watts and a good aerial setup far outweights power, but I'm wondering whether a proper serial, and not the serial on Icom's website will allow editing of power. I will play some more with this program and see what I come up with and see what other things cannot be altered.
Also thanks to the above posters for putting up the dealer software and information.
