    Question Resolution ?

    Hi,
I have just purchased a View Sonic 22" HD wide screen monitor.

I am trying to get the best resolution and would like some input from anyone that has a widescreen monitor.

I have also noticed that some of the games that my wife plays (from reflexive arcade) have the end chopped off, thus making the game unplayable.

    Thanks in advance.

each model will have a recommended setting shown on the screen cover or in the manual.

example my 19" uses 1440 x 900 also you may need to install the newest drivers for the video card to ba able to use the recommended Resolution

Thanks for that. I had to load the eloctronic manual. The resolution is 1680 x 1050 @ 60hz

Now one other ? How do I check to see if the graphic card is set @ 60hz?

Graphics is NVIDIA GEForce 6100 nforce 405

    Thanks once again.

right click on the desktop and select properties.... then the settings tab, Advanced button, then the Monitor tab. The refresh rate should be there.
