Default PSP Wont Turn On or Charge

Its a white phat psp, its been sitting for a few months, was working fine last time used, then it was left for a few months untouched, now using the cable or usb you dont get any light on to say its charging, tried a friends fully charged battery and still nothing, no light, no turn on, nothing
    Any ideas ??

there is a small fuse which has probably blown , if this has gone you will get those symptoms , not working and no charging

was probably you battery lithium ion are great , but they do not like to sit around a long time
also the fuse was probably faulty in the first place , once you powered up it probably blew , especially if they battery had been idle for a few months or more and you went straight to charge

lol anything really , if you got a spike for some reason andthe fuse did not blow well you are leaving the rest of the psp unprotected .
Generally though you should be right with a bridge , you are taking a chance ,but it is only a samll one
