    Default 16ch ip recorder advice

    Our pacom 16ch ip server is dying. Uptime 6 years
    After a replacement. Dont need all the bell and whistles
    Its for a remote servo
    Has 14ip camera's need a unit that records all the time and is easy for staff to search and use for drive offs
    Footage for police USB or DVD
    Has to have a second output for in store TV
    Budget of about 3-5 k

    Do you really need to replace the whole unit or just a hard drive?

    The motherboard got damp. Unknown to me and has corrosion around CPU. Don't know how its still running
    Its a supermicro with duel zenons win 7
    Its 6 years old and runs dvtel
    old mate got cleaned out when bought he paid 75$ for server 16 cams pie switch 2screens and remote display + install
