Does sound odd.
Can you perform a full reset on the Satking box and see if that clears the issue?
I have a 40” Samsung TV (UA40J5100) – it has two HDMI inputs, into which are plugged a Strong Sat receiver and a Satking VAST receiver.
This setup has been working fine since July last year.
Last night I switched over to VAST, and the resulting video/audio pulsed on and off the TV screen at an approximate 2 second rate, that is, two seconds of video/audio, 2 seconds of no video/audio…..ad nauseum.
Immediately swapped the Strong box over to that HDMI input….all fine.
Swapped the Strong and Satking over to each others HDMI input….Strong still working fine, fault followed the Satking.
So the Strong box working fine on both HDMI inputs to the TV….the Satking box pulsing on and off on both HDMI inputs.
Plugged the Satking box into another TV (Toshiba 26EL800A) and HDMI worked fine.
Changed all HDMI leads involved, sprayed TV HDMI sockets….no change.
Satking works fine on AV and Component with the Samsung TV, but refuses to talk to it properly through HDMI.
So, I have a situation where the Samsung TV works fine with other HDMI devices…..
the Satking box works fine on HDMI with another TV….but….
the Satking box, which was working fine with the Samsung TV up until last night, will no longer talk to the Samsung TV via HDMI (except in two second bursts).
Would I be right in assuming that something has dropped below a critical threshold?
Any thoughts?

Also pull the power to the TV to reset it.

Yep... like just about anything electronic with microprocessors... a 'hard/cold reboot' can often solve many seemingly strange problems.
Always one of the first steps I try, after checking connections, etc.

Gentlemen,
A thousand thank you's.
Turned everything off for about fifteen minutes....switched back on and did a Factory Reset on the Satking (using AV input to the TV)....and all is well with the world once again
Had previously powered down the Satking when moving it between TVs, but had not powered down the Samsung TV, and didn't even realise that a VAST box would have a Factory Reset function (when all else fails, read the manual).
I'm guessing that the Factory Reset did the trick.
Thanks again.
Good you got it sorted.
If only they were all that simple, eh.
