Default Am I getting paranoid (EBAY)

    Here is my problem

Did a search in google clicked on the link for Ebay
It comes up with sign in, see photo
Before I thought I entered user and password
Then it asked me for billing info, see photo
At this point I thought I didn’t want to login so I thought it a bit strange tried dif browser same result
Tried to find out what was going on but any search about ebay returns page not available or goes to sign in
Went to my laptop connected to my phone, no problems so I changed my P/W just encase
Tried to call ebay but can’t get through so i thought ask Austech

    Am I getting paranoid?

I often get the login screen, but not the billing info.

The login screen I get is usually if I am clicking on an item, even on watched searches I receive email alerts for... especially if they are for other ebay sites than the Australian ebay site..... even if I am already logged into the Australian site.

This may be what is also happening to you?

But point taken.... the billing info is a bit suss.

Trying going to EBay at then enter the item you were looking for & see if you get the same result, as I'm not getting asked to sign in or for account info at all.

Happy to search the product & post link to make sure it's genuine if you like.
    Cheers, Tiny

OK, still sounds weird as I just get the browsing screen with sign in or register as shown below, but I can browse without signing in.

    Chrome

Wouldn't hurt to scan your computer for malware (no pun intended) with malwarebytes, etc.

Sometimes malware can redirect websites to spoofed pages.

Are you getting a secure login at the sign in page.. eg: https?
