WTB: HILLS cx-8 / cx-12 antenna combiner

Looking for a new or used hills 8 input/12 input active antenna combiner....

Or any other brand as long as its an active combiner for 5-1000Mhz

tricky little product that can be no more than a 5-900MHz directional coupler with perhaps a 38dB amplifier that beats the insertion loss of the coupler and provides some gain.

using FA8-14 couplers (don't forget the terminator) with a CA313 amplifier () gives a cleaner result with off-air channels as you can put your receivers into band 5 with the off-air into Bands 1, 3 and 4. there is also a wide band uhf input - if you need it. at trade the cost is about half of the hills product.

splitters don't give as good a result with +4 channels, so take care!

but if you need to combine lots of modulators, channel selective combiners will give even better results - also at
