    Question Stupid question....probably.

    Hi all,
I am not sure if this is in the right thread, and hopefully is an easy fix. I have noticed for a long time when I view some webpages or open some HTML emails that where images are supposed to be, there is just a white box with a red x in the top corner. I have noticed it has been a lot more common recently too. I assume I dont have the necessary plugin, or software to view them? I have Windows XP service pack 3, and all the appropriate updates. Is there some way I can fix this easily, or somewhere I can download this info. When click on the crosses it only opens the white box larger or if I right click it only gives me options to save, which is only a white box too. I will be AWOL for a few days so I may not be able to answer any other questions until early next week.

    Thanks.

People who put webpages up are inherently hopeless at keeping their links up to date. I regularly visit pages where dead links exist.

The other thing to check is that your web browser is set to "show images and attachments".
