    Default Super nintendo playing up

Hey, my super NES is playing up a bit, Normally it is fine, and works as expected, however sometimes, it plays up, has very garbled and almost unreadable graphics, but the sound is still fine. I've only got 1 game for it though, and I was wondering if it's more likely to be the Game cartridge, or the Super Nintendo unit itself?

Get some alcohol and clean the contacts on the game and the cartridge
    should fix it

    Hi

If wiping the gunk of the cartidge contacts still doesn't fix the problem something that old could be full of dust.

Just grab an air compressor and use that to blow out the crud and dust out ofit.

It's also a good idea to use a moisture lock on the compressor to so no water comes through.

It's always better to take of the top of it too before using the compressor.

Oh yeah, the snes came out during the 90's the nes ruled in the 80's.

The SNES kicked the Mega Drive's ass back in the days, hell it even beats most of the new games in terms of playability and all round coolness!

I still hold a SNES and about 20 of the best games, much better playing using original controller than using the Wii virtual console. Have a look on ebay, the games are still holding their value, cost the same now as they did 5 years ago. Also chrono trigger isn't on VC yet.
