    Default readers back to back????

    Hi
    i have a tecom system where a another
    company mounted reader on both sides a
    plaater board wall.when you swipe one reader
    both reader beep access at aame time.
    The system locks up sometimes.
    any ideas on how to stop both readers triggering???

    Run a new cable & install another door controller, or don't worry about it.

    what size it the reader?
    on mount it a metal plate on the wall.

    You could experiment with some foil glued to the back of each reader. RF can do strange things, so you'd need to test it. Have used it to stop RF interference before.

    Are you sure its not that the buzzer wire is connected for feedback on both readers, so when access is granted/denied it is beeping both readers, being in parallel?

    Both readers are the same single door controller aren't they....
