DAB+ audience growing due to new cars having Digital Radios

trouble I am having (Ive had a sony DAB+ car radio for about 2 years) is coverage.

I live south of Mt Dandenong in Melbourne, the coverage is quiet patchy and I got sick of the drop outs.

I have tried several antenna but they all have had less than satisfactory results.

If i go south west through west of Mt Dandy I have no issues so I know its due to my location.

Its a shame as I can not stand to listen to commercial radio in any form. 30 minutes of ad's and self gratification for one song, and then that song is not very good anyway.

I am an Aussie (all Australian All the Time) and KOFFEE fan as well as 774 when in the mood for current affairs but commercial radio as well as commercial TV can eat a big brown one!!!!!!

I put an FM only radio in my 4wd and am disappointed because I can't find news radio (AM 491) on any of the FM feeds. I agree, commercial radio sux.

Same here ..... No DAB Radio in our local area

I bought a very expensive radio a few years ago & it had everything except an AM Radio (but I mainly bought it for internet radio)

Pandora is pretty good. but not in the car due to data costs.

Are they being fitted ad hoc or just in areas where its possible to receive the signal ?

nearest dab station is 600km away, and i live in a city.....

mine was fitted with vehicle,
comes with AM tuner/FM Tuner/DAB+ tuner
