    Default Vast state change

Whats the best method to get your travellers vast changed to a different state? Have emailed them but still awaiting. Is it possible to resubmit the registration forum?

Just resubmit the registration form and in the notes tell them you've traveled into another state.

How long since you applied and was it during week day working hours or over a weekend?

When I registered a new STB for friend a few months ago I had to contact them due to a registration problem (the stb died midway thru the registration) and I got the impression then that they were 'vetting' registrations rather than allowing the previous automatic registration to occur in approved areas, even if you already had other STB's already registered in your name.
This 'vetting' was only being done during the normal weekday working hours excluding any public holidays.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Yesterday I attempted to do just that.

When I hit the Registration Form "Submit" button, a pop-up advised me that this was a duplicate application as the smartcard number was already registered.

At the top of the "Travellers Registration Form" is the following:

    Duplicate Owner/Decoder Registration
    1. If you intend to renew your expired traveller's registration please click here
    2. If you have travelled into a new state and wish to change over state services please send through an online enquiry here
    3. If this decoder has recently been registered please wait for processing.
If you click on the "here" link in option 2, you are redirected to a general enquiry form which requires personal details and Smartcard number, and provides space for a message.

I filled out the details and submitted a message requesting that the Smarcard registration be renewed (due in 4 days time), and that the Area of Travel be changed.

That was yesterday morning....yesterday afternoon I received a very courteous email from VAST advising me that both actions had been completed.

On the several times I needed to change zones I rang the VAST admin and they changed it while I was on the line.
