I see no reason it would not support that broadcast but it might need a card to do that. Such a card, if required, could need validation by the broadcaster. That is the only complication I foresee.

Let me know your postcode and I can work out postage cost. Or would you like me to send it direct to him to cut out double postage? Let me know his address if that appeals and I'll find the postage to tyhere.

It is in mint condition so will make a nice present :-)

Should work fine as it handles the 45,000 ms/s symbol rate. Just be aware that you may not be able to record one channel while watching another if your card can't share to both tuners at the same time. But I think you have a pretty old card from memory so you might be ok.

I would prefer direct debit to my bank account (avoids the 3.3% PayPal fees).

The postal situation seems crazy. You check it out. I have a solid box, suitable to post O/S size 51.5 x 50 x 18 weighing 5.5kg

To send to you costs $53.65

To send from here (Launceston 7250) to New Caledonia costs $22.93!!!

Makes no sense to me so you double check please.

I live out of town but am going in Monday so could post then if you decide to go ahead.

    Cheers

I tried that - very close but the box will not quite fit. No problem without the box with heaps of bubble wrap. I could collapse the box and include it for later reassembling.

Mitchell tells me he is very busy today so I'm not pressing him. Let us say I will know around midday Sunday EST if it is yours or his.

    Thanks for your interest.

Leroy, I thought at one stage you were right about getting it into a 5 kg satchel after I discovered two heavy cardboard pieces inn the box making it too big. But sadly the rotten thing was still too long to close off the satchel so it has ended up in heaps of bubble wrap. Let me know if anyone would like the box!!

Thanks for your help - you are a true gentleman.
