08 Astra CDTi deisel wagon.

I"m going to down size from a falcon 2000 wagon to another wagon as I don't need the space & the Astra CDTi has come up on my radar. any of you had one or now anything about them. I'm looking at one that has 160000 on the clock. Thanks.

Son, who works in the industry doesn't have nice things to say about AshTrays, but, I'm not sure what the problems are.

Astra's are just rebadged Daewoos , i'd be looking at a japanese wagon like a Lancer or something.

Stay way from Astras......and Lancers (probably the worst Jap car made along with the express wagons)

My rule of thumb is get rid of a car before 200,000Km, thats when all the painful expensive stuff to fix starts to show its head.

I certainly wouldn't be looking at something nearing 200,000Km on the clock.....

No they're not, they are an Opel product.
I'd recommend a Hyundai i30 wagon over all of the others mentioned.
