Australias Secret Heroes
sbs 3 part documentary on Z force, Australia's ww2 special forces unit who operated in Asia.
6 descendants of original members are taken through similar training using the original manuals.
Original members are interviewed and take part in the doco. They travel to borneo and meet some of the natives who were trained by members of z force in guerilla warfare.
Records pertaining to z force have only recently been de classified and some records are still redacted, even after all this time.
Sparrow force is mentioned as well, another unit that is not well known....
Well worth a watch, a fascinating look at what some of our forebears went through.

Yes I enjoyed it , a lot like the "in their footsteps" tv doco series , well worth a watch .
