Default Garage door opener Enduro GDO-9 belt replacement

The belt on my panel door opener broke today. Of course it was just outside of warranty period! Does anyone have any experience of replacing either the timing belt or the complete c rail? I would like to find a main thence manual if possible.

Looks like the belt and c rail is one piece as it states the belt has been pre-tensioned in the factory so unlikely to be user servicable.

Ive yet to see a belt thats not replaceable.

If its a toothed belt take it into a bearing shop so they can count the teeth and pull any numbers off the back of it.

When fitting it just make it firm, not so loose that it can skip a tooth and not so firm that it will wear the bearings.

Then reset your up and down limits.....

When my chain drive died a few years ago the new one was belt drive. It is supposed to be much quieter. It is quieter but not a huge difference. Also there is no exposed chain...the belt is inside a c-section metal tube.
