    I've been registering my cars since 1973 and never had the headlight aim checked.

    Just in case you missed the 60 minutes report on these Takata Airbags especially from the 9 minute mark of part three. How can these car manufactures get away with a band aid fix and you will be at square one again that the airbags after 6 years become dangerous again.

    I dont see how a tear in the top of the rear seat caused by 'Sunburn' can render a vehicle Unroadworthy yet an Airbag going off in your Face without cause (accident impact) doesnt???
    Donkey's years ago a relative's Datson had that rear seat problem so we did an immediate repair by putting a Car Rug over it.............
    I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

    on the news this morning , in QLD and VIC ( i think ) if your car has not had the bags replaced then they will cancel your rego.

    Will they also pay to have the dashpad replaced when the stealers Fk it up and the thing rattles like like a freight train when you get it back?

    probably not. our consumer laws are too pissweak for that. Governments enjoy making consumers suffer financially when companies make big mistakes
